Who doesn't like getting rewarded for a job well done-especially when those rewards come in the form of cash, new laptop computers and other prizes? Our Academic Pep Rallies in middle school and high school make getting the grades cool.

 

Grade and TAKS Score Monitoring Obviously, you can't go to college if you don't graduate high school. So EIF keeps very close tabs on each student's grades and TAKS scores. Every 6 weeks, EIF students' grade reports are entered into a database where their progress can be tracked. If a student's cumulative GPA slips below 85%, their parents are notified and they are placed on probation. Similarly, EIF will recommend tutoring if a student is failing to meet the standard for graduation.

 

Curriculum Requirements Students often don't know what they should be taking to prepare for college. EIF makes it easy by requiring students to take the most academically rigorous curriculum available in their school. If there's an AP class out there, EIF students will be taking it. Then, EIF goes a step further by counseling students so they understand what's needed for their particular career goals.
