University of North Texas
UNT was EIF's first University Partner. In this partnership, DISD students who complete the Education is Freedom curriculum will be automatically admitted to UNT's Emerald Eagle Scholars program, assuming the student is academically and financially eligible. Each Emerald Eagle Scholar will have at least $28,000 in tuition and fees covered during their college career; thus, it is estimated that this partnership will result in a $7 million benefit to EIF students graduating from high school between 2009 and 2013. University of North Texas at Dallas
UNT Dallas is the only 4-year public university in the city of Dallas. UNT Dallas and EIF will work together to ensure Dallas ISD students who have sucessfully completed the Education is Freedom curriculum, and have met UNT Dallas admission standards, will have access to $2.5 million in scholarship assistance to cover UNT Dallas tuition, fees and other college related costs between 2010 and 2015.

Texas A&M University-Commerce
A&M-Commerce and EIF have a $3.2 million dollar partnership focusing on preparing and motivating the students of Dallas ISD to go to college and to succeed. EIF students will get priority consideration to the university's Honors College, and could recieve four-year scholarships at the university. The students will also be able to earn up to $1,500 by attending a variety of A&M-Commerce campus activities, such as athletic events and college prep and financial aid sessions. The University of Texas at Austin
The University of Texas at Austin and EIF have partnered to facilitate the Longhorn Pre-College Academy (LPCA) program in Dallas ISD that will provide a pathway to the university for high school students who have been historically underserved but are high achievers. The Longhorn Pre-College Academy will offer students access to academic enrichment programs and services and college-awareness workshops. At the conclusion of their junior year, students eligible for admission to The University of Texas at Austin will have the opportunity to compete for 46 annual scholarships to the university. University President William Powers Jr. has earmarked $3 million for the scholarships over a three-year period. (Read the press release.)

Jarvis Christian College
Over the next three years, Jarvis Christian College has committed up to $540,000 worth of scholarships to approximately 45 students. Starting Fall 2011, up to 15 EIF students will receive $3,000 scholarships per year ($1,500 fall and $1,500 spring). Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply. The program is open to all majors. Students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring). Dr. Thomas said all EIF students receiving scholarships will participate in tutoring and mentoring programs to aid retention and ensure success at Jarvis. He added that he is very excited about Jarvis’ campaign to enhance the diversity of its student body. (Read the press release)
